Avery is still our little helper and loves to help cook.
Avery loves to be outside and play on her scooter, of which she is really good at, and she loves to play at parks and make friends. She is our little social butterfly and likes to make friends with all of the kids at the park.
Her favorite food : breakfast, Avery asks to eat breakfast all day long, she loves cereal.
Avery is still really good at colors and now adds light and dark to color names. For the alphabet she sings the song to remember the names of each letter but there are really only a couple letters that she tends to forget like M,N,U, and V. Numbers Avery can look at not in order and get them all correct, but occasionally needs a little help counting them all in order. She likes to color and write and will grab paper and write "notes" on them (she makes squiggle lines inbetween the lines). She'll tell me, "I'm going to write Kyle a letter," (Kyle's on his mission in Fresno, California Spanish Speaking) and then write for him. She is getting good at tracing and we are working on drawing lines to help her with her writing. She can draw a horizontal and vertical line.
Avery also loves to sing and I hear her in the car and ask her what she's saying and she'll tell me, "I'm singing!" The nursery leader informed us that Avery is her star singer. She is also quite the little dancer.
This summer Avery took swimming lessons for the first time and did really well. She's still in level 1, but we are so proud of her for jumping right into the water and for trying to do everything her teacher told her. She has to work on her strokes before moving to the next level, but for being 3 she did awesome!
She can't wait to take swimming lessons again.
At 3 1/2 Avery weighs 28 lbs and is 36 inches tall.
We sure love our Avery!
